What is Warlock?

Warlock is a competitive PvP arena game mode where players battle on a shrinking platform using customizable spell loadouts. Kill your opponents with powerful spells and stay out of the high damage per second lava.

Each match is split into two phases that alternate throughout the game:

  • Shop phase (60 seconds): Browse the shop, buy spells, and upgrade your stats with coins earned from the previous battle.
  • Battle phase: Fight on the arena. Players who die return to the shop and wait for the next round.

The arena shrinks every 10 seconds, forcing players closer to the lava and preventing stalling.

Controls

You have 8 spell slots that you fill from the shop. Each slot is bound to a key:

KeySlot
Left ClickSlot 1
Right ClickSlot 2
QSlot 3
ESlot 4
RSlot 5
FSlot 6
1Slot 7
2Slot 8

Empty slots do nothing. Filled slots fire the equipped spell on press (subject to cooldown).

How to Win

Kill your opponents by knocking them into the lava with high-knockback spells. The lava deals heavy constant damage, so positioning near the edge is dangerous.

The player with the most kills wins. By default every player receives the same amount of gold, so the leader won't snowball from an economic advantage.

High-knockback spells like Combustion and Fireball deal the most displacement. Control spells like Root and Gravity set up kills for teammates or your own follow-up shots.

The Shop

During the shop phase the shop opens automatically. You can also open it with /warlock shop. Spend coins on:

  • Spells: Buy new spells and assign them to slots. See the Spells page for the full list.
  • Spell upgrades: Upgrade owned spells to level 2 or 3 for better damage, cooldown, or utility.
  • Stats: Spend coins on passive upgrades like Spell Damage, Knockback Power, Max Health, and more. See the Stats page for details.

Your loadout persists between rounds within a match.
