How It Works

Fires a fast projectile that immobilizes the target for 3 seconds and causes them to take significantly increased damage (50-100% more depending on level). The projectile deals no knockback, keeping the target in place for follow-up spells.

Tips

  • Always follow a Root immediately with your highest-damage spell. The multiplier is substantial.
  • Root + Fireball or Root + Lightning is a reliable burst combo.
  • A rooted target is stationary and trivially easy to hit with any projectile.
